When I was about 12 years old, my dad drove our family half way across the country visiting every National Park on the map.  On one of Dad’s many, many stops, he pulled out his Canon AE-1, photographing with great excitement and wonder, marveling over every detail of the beauty that surrounded us. My dad nudged me and pointed in the direction of a unique rock formation framed perfectly by a few nearby trees.  Unexpectedly, my dad handed me his camera that was given to him by his father. That was the moment I learned the difference between creating quality photographs and merely taking pictures.

It is my goal to capture the beauty of life and the moments that we hold dear, preserving them for generations to come.
